The Testing Training Curriculum has been established based on over 20 years of technical development, support, and testing projects within Information Systems. As technology has become increasingly more dynamic and object oriented in scope, so has the increased need for up-to-date testing methods and practices. These three courses are progressive in concept, function, complexity, and application. Each course has been developed with a clear presentation of testing concepts; namely, incorporating functional methods which work and that are reinforced through practical lab exercises. Each subsequent course builds upon and broadens the understanding of proceeding concepts and applications. Upon completion of the training, the testing manager will be qualified to orchestrate a well-tuned testing team and its effort. Course I -- Introduction to Testing was designed to introduce the developers, programmers and new testers to the testing support role and function. Course II - Intermediate Testing Techniques and Methodologies, brings the test team in line with the functional role of incorporating and implementing a corporate testing methodology. Course III - Advanced Testing Practices and Management Tactics will present working practices and management tactics for developing, implementing, and ultimately managing a successful testing project utilizing a test team and its associates, under a carefully designed test model, defined by a concise testing methodology. |
