WinRunner is a complete automated test script development and execution tool. It can be used to simply record and replay test scripts, or it can be used to create complex test models with its powerful programming language and special features.

This seminar introduces the test team to the foundation of utilizing WinRunner as a automated test script tool. The course will cover basic record/replay features of WinRunner, checkpoints, and TSL constructs.

Execution of test scripts, in most cases, is a redundant effort throughout the development or version update of an application. Automating the process using test tools therefore has many tangible benefits—all of which are realized with WinRunner.

The goal of this seminar is (1) to demonstrate how to utilize Mercury TestSuite WinRunner features in creating and executing automated test scripts, and (2) to equip a test team with the expertise found in those features.
